A Book, Music & a Musical
"I’d say “do yourself a favor” but I really mean “do planet Earth a favor” as the artist that you are: Read Mission of the Artist and get as many others to read it as you can. Once you do you will naturally want to get everyone to read it. It is the answer to everything you see not resolving around you, and I think you will find your true purpose as an artist and even achieve it as well!" Frank Sardella
Book -
“I have to admit I cried several times from being untrue to my own goals for quite a while. Mission of the Artist washed away the veil and reopened my eyes. Thank you! Bob Lawrason
“I was intrigued by the title and bought the book. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. It is filled with insights and jewels about our role as artists, all woven into an incredible story that crosses galaxies and boundaries. Hidden within the story, yet still obvious, is a guideline for any artist to succeed and flourish with their art and in society.” Charlene Pateropoulos
Music -
I have listened to your songs many times. What you are singing about is so true. I have a big reality on the lyrics. It helps me when I am feeling down. I play the music and I feel good.
Nathalie Neidermann
The music was very inspiring. It was just what I needed when I went to work. It reminded me of my childhood and is unlike other things out there. It was moving and clean and positive. It was like a self-help record and inspired me. I listen to it at night when I want to relax too.
Leticia Miles.
Musical -
"I just watched the Mission of the Artist musical. It's an inspiring and positive piece of art. The music and performances by the actors were fantastic. This play will make you laugh and cry. The subject matter that it covers is near and dear to me and very relevant to what is going on in the world right now. The play touched something inside of me that made we want to get into action. We as people are much more powerful than we give ourselves credit for, and need to remind ourselves that we do have the power to make a change in this world. The story and songs reminded me of the importance and power of artists, and the huge effects they can create. Great work Barbara!"
